Full Screen Bug
I just got the game with the sale that is going on and I am having a problem running the game in full screen. I am running Windows 10 on a 4K display on my laptop. The GPU in my laptop is not capable of running most game in 4K so I run most game in 1080p with full screen so everything is just upscaled. However, in this game I cannot run it in 1080p and have it play in full screen. Whenever I do play in full screen the game clearly plays in 4K and the game runs very slow, about half the speed the game runs when I play in 1080p which puts the game in window mode. I have tried ALT+ENTER in 1080p window mode and it has the same result. My GPU is a GTX 970M and I would think with a game like this I could play it in 4K with no problems.

I am not sure what is causing this issue, but full screen just seems to have an effect on the in-game timer. It is not a lack of frames, just that the game runs at half speed. A single mission in-game from January to March takes twice as long in full screen as it does in 1080p window mode. All accompining animations, oil pumping, money transfering, are all running at half speed.

If anyone can help me with this I thank you in advance. If I cannot find a solution to this problem I will probably request a refund as playing in 1080p window mode is to small on my 4K screen to allow the game fun.

Try turning off anti aliasing in the settings menu. AA is the graphically heaviest thing about Turmoil. If that is not enough you can set the framerate to 30 or set your desktop resolution to 1080p.

I had this the first time I played, but after I closed the game and restarted later - voila! Full screen works. You've probably run it more than once now, but if not give it a go.

AA is off and I have ran the game multiple times to try and solve this issue. It does not seem like this game has any support for different resolution full screen functionality.

I believe you can press windows key+ alt+ enter to run any game in full screen.

I did that but I still have the same issue even though the game is set to 1080p

Alright, so turning off Anti-Aliasing works now even though it didn't before. Perhaps it works now that it has been a day and I have restarted my computer in that time? Either way, if you encounter a similar problem like this just disable Anti-Aliasing. Thanks for the help guys.
