"Beat the The Heat Is On campaign in expert mode".
Is it even tested?
Hover over the spoiler tag for tips:
In the last area only: Because gas now fills up the existing pocket before growing, you can just about empty an oil pocket, convert the last bit back to gas and then fill the entire pocket with gas. If you do this with every oil pocket you can get a lot of gas, easily gaining more profit than even the experts! However, it requires that you find lava as soon as possible and you need to pay close attention to every oil pocket that you are draining. Try practising this strategy in the single game mode.
Note that you do not necessarily need the above strategy to win the expert Heat Is On campaign. We played it internally before the v2.0.8 gas changes.
Yeah, I would try that, it is a good strategy I used before. But I just played the first few maps on expert, where you cannot use this, because you do not have the technology for it.
And it is quite discouraging, if you play like a champ, and the AI just beat you, while it also should not have the neccessary technology to make so much money.
I would encourage to dial back the AI during the first few turns.
I do not know exactly, how the AI gets the results, but I can guess that their profit is tied somehow to their technologies and the oil/gas content of their land. This way the AI gets an unfair advantages, if it can purchase technologies much faster than the player during the first turns.
- I played as Henry. I wanted all treasures. I founde all treaserures only first arena. Second and last I found two treaserures same over and over. I had to buy last treaserur. I sold treaserur best price 1400$ but bought 42000 last treaserur$
