We are working on a Game Over state after 3 years of debt. We didn't envision players borrowing that much!
60k in debt now, I borrowed from the bank, at a rate of like 300% interest, and though my next score was pretty huge, over 30k, it barely put a dent in the over 180K I now owed. I borrowed more money to pay that down, already cognizant I was pretty much dead in the water at this point, but just morbidly curious how bad things could get. A 1000% + interest rate is how bad and, well, once the round was over my good friend Will had a 14 million dollar debt for me.
Fun game, though. Wasnt sure what to expect, picked this up on Humble Bundle and I really like it. Will definitely be checking out whatever you guys release in the future.
Try again with this knowledge. You'll do much better.
You can also give your diamonds to Anthony (in the Saloon). He will then point you to one of the better plots available. Use this in the beginning of a new area for max effect.
Speaking of Mr. Plainview, if you don't shout DRAAAAIIIIIINNNAAGGGEEEEE! every time you completely clear out a stage of oil, you're doing it wrong.
