Once you complete the campaign you get something at the end if you have 50%+.

If you have 50% you win the game!

Shares are the 'end game'. To win the game you must become the main shareholder and you will become the Mayor!

I find the bots buy up shares in unpredictable ways, so unless you splurge EVERY time, you can't win. Could you just never buy any, then at the end buy them all in one go?

Once the bots bought 2% for 10k, next time 3% was on offer, so I thought I'd go at 16k to beat them, but they bought at 20k, seems a bit random?

The amount that 1% is worth can change because of:
-Everybody has more/less money.
-There are less Stocks available every year.
-The amount of Stock on offer.
-The current amount of Stock everybody has.

So yeah, it varies, and there is some randomness. But you should get better at judging the situation. There are no hard numbers we can give!

Appreciate the response. I'd also suggest patching the autosave as well, as it's too easy to just reload the campaign after you've seen how much they sell for, and that way you always just put in 1k more and win. Perhaps if there was a quick autosave after share/land buy?

I don't know why I'm making the game harder for myself...

:) It's possible to 'cheat' We could change the save system, but that would require a lot of work, just because of how it was originally designed.
If people want to cheat, they will. But it takes the fun out of it!
