How do you know which plots to bid on?

Hi. Just a quick one. Is there a method to knowing which plots are best to bid on. The AI seems to know, constantly outbidding anyone that seems to be on a good peace of land, but I can't see any info that would indicate that plot is any better than others (apart from the AI fighting for it).

Plots that are already mined have a number on it. The higher the number, the more oil it had. Plots next to each other tend to have comparable amounts of oil. For instance, you won't find a plot with an amount of 15 next to a plot with 75. This should help you in getting a feel for where the most oil is. Good luck! :)
