Daryl unfortunately flew under my radar on its release. I discovered it in the summer of 2020 because Limited Run Games announced that they were doing a small PS4 print run for it. I hadn't heard of it, so I looked it up. I knew immediately that I would love it, and it also seemed like exactly the kind of game that I'd like to have a physical copy of. So I ordered it the moment it went on sale. And I loved it even more than I expected to.
Truly unique games like Daryl are rare, and the heart that was poured into it is unquestionable. I hope we get another Dan & Gary game someday.
Amen, brother. I just got it on sale on Switch, ready to relive some happy memories. So annoyed it didn't get the attention it deserves.
