Grinding for Diamonds, Gem Drops Generally, PRAISE, Multifaceted Approach

Have to say, first-and-foremost, Daryl is an absolute SWEET SPOT of a game for me. Somehow squarely between Guacamelee and LISA: the Painful RPG. Haven't had this much fun in ages. THANK YOU. It freaking made me put Guacamelee 2 aside smack dab in the middle. :)

I have found exactly one diamond in the game so far (I used it to see the journal in Lost Hallway). It was not dropped by a monster, but found in one of the twin treasure rooms on either side of the bathroom in Not a Battlefield. Luck Butter promises "rare jewels", but do diamonds EVER drop from monster kills? Starting to wonder if I should have given that sole diamond to the Goblin King instead.... A companion question: do higher level monsters have a greater chance to drop rare jewels?

I LOVE the subtle and not-so-subtle transformations Daryl goes through when executing high-powered skills. My current favorite pairing is Reap What You Sow with Multifaceted Approach. Obviously, he becomes Death for the former, but the latter happens so quickly I can't quite make it out. It almost looks like... Wonder Woman? Would love it if this were true. Can anyone confirm or deny, either by first-hand knowledge or a hella-quick screen capture? XD :)

Eyo! Diamonds do drop from Monster Kills, but you need the best Luck Butter for that to happen.

Daryl is dressed up like the Literature Guardian when he's using Multifaceted Approach.

Of COURSE he is! Not sure how I missed that. Loved the game from beginning to end, man. Did work out the way to get diamonds (thanks, Chef Flex!), and 100 percented that puppy. Seriously considering another run. Thanks for offering up real fun.

I forget what the middle one is off the top of my head, but each level of Luck Butter gives you a chance to drop one tier higher of gem when killing monsters. Otherwise, they can be found in various chests OR purchased from the Trenchcoat Employee toward the end of the game in a map called Greed.
