Yeah,cool,but for me,the area with the torches below (the benjamin's basement) the gates to enter are closed and death say that i need to go back in time and open,but i tryed everything that i coud do,so that's my problem,how to open the benjamin's basement gates? And tkx for the locations

You need to have a kind of lever in your inventory. If you do, you will have to go the first dungeon of the game iirc. Eventually you will find a spot near the gate where you can place it. I cant remember with 100% accuracy. I did that a long time ago. Hope you understand my explanation. Good luck!

I found and placed the lever, but I can't find what it opened. I've been wandering around in the dungeon for hours now after playing a bunch of the game and getting stuck on yet another unkillable chicken. Where the heck is the stupid black knight spirit?

It opens a gate for later in the game, when you are stuck in limbo.
Black Guard Urn - Castle town - Upstairs castle - knight to push boulder, wizard to teleport, southern part of it
Black Guard Spirit - Crypt revisited after the town is in flames yet again.
Credit of the Black Guard goes to Phantom and his guide about the game. You should check it out before asking further questions, it could save you time ;)

I checked it first. I also searched the entire message board but NO ONE has more information than 'go back into the crypt'.

I've been wandering around the Crypt while the town is in flames for the second time for MORE THAN TWO HOURS and I can't find the freaking black guard spirit. There is NOTHING. I searched the guide and found all the secrets he identified (I'd already found most of them, but there were a couple). None of them had a black guard spirit in them.

IIRC the urn is inside the castle itself, the first one in the north. Inside the castle on the upper floor area you can find the urn...

The blackguard spirit itself comes by later in the game you revisit the first crypt dungeon... its entirely possible you haven't progressed enough story for that part...

If the towns burning again, and they say that a black knight went north then yeah its doable... if so its IIRC at the back of the crypt kinda hard to miss if you've got the secrets done
