Black guard spirit

Can't find it T_T I have the urn, I only miss the spirit. I'm well past the mage tower "episode", so I suspect I should have found it already. Suggestions? Where did I go wrong?

you have to find the secret in macguffin castle that gives you access to the crown that you already returned, there you will find the "key to macguffin's crypt" which will allow you to get past the lower levels in the crypt that you started the game in, then go to hamlet town, you will find it on fire again, and they will say that they were attacked by a blackguard, go to the lower levels of the crypt, beat the blackguard, find the urn.

I have defeated the black gaurd but can't find the urn anywhere can someone give me exact details
