Death fight after Solomon Steel

I've been trying to take on Death with only 3 characters and keep getting completely destroyed. Any tips or suggestions on class/levels?

Depends on who you have as a party, I'd say the old adage levelup is probably viable,

In terms of characters...

Wizard and triple lightning is one of the most powerful attacks
Summoner and pets (I don't know if you can have him at this point) is a great tank

Cleric is underrated, he is very good, healing, buffs, and his aoe has the blind debuff
Knight is also very good, big cheer is awesome

Fighter is my go-to... warrior, black knight just don't have the same versatility

Thief is my go-to... flashbang and caltrops help a lot.
Ranger is more powerful damage wise (indeed than the wizard even) but you lose the super debuffs of the thief

Otherwise, go grind up another 5 levels and try again, if you die, go grind up another 5 levels and try again...

Then be happy that you are playing the game "late" and aren't hindered by artificial level caps that made fights 100x harder :P
