They had no long term motivation built into this game. Nothing to unlock or keep the players playing, sadly it's empy now.

I totally get what you're getting at, but it's really sad that now-a-days a game being FUN isn't enough to keep people playing. There must be artificial rewards built into the game to trick players into grinding away at the game.

Just seems kinda backwards to me (this is my personal opinion too btw, nothing official).

Well coming back at it once a game looses its charme it is hard to keep people playing. I for myself love upgrading weapons and being able to unlock stuff. I loved games such as Ratchet and Clank or CoD back then, because not only were they fun, they got even more fun, when you could unlock that new upgrade.

But yes I know what you mean. Games such as CSS kept people playing for Years, but even CS2 went with some sort of motivation keeper now, with the lvl-system, the skin drops and passes. I still love unlocking stuff but not grinding for them either.

This is one of my favorite games and it does suck to see no one is playing it anymore but it is what it is. People tend to follow trendy games like fortnite, league of legends etc and won't give smaller games a chance. I've also noticed people starting to leave negative reviews like it's somehow the developers fault no one is playing anymore, I mean come on they can't control what people are interested in.

Ye the bigger games have bigger marketing budgets, even if the games are ♥♥♥♥ very often, the marketing does its job. But there are a few things Developers can do to increase the playtime of a game and have a constant flow of players.

Yeah i don't understand, people need a battlepass now to enjoy a game, it's very weird.
