Is this game still alive?

I found it on sale but the forum doesn't seem to be much alive

the game has P2P, if you host a game you're essentially the server that people are connecting to. Likewise when you join a server that has someone's username, that's a p2p connection, there are no other servers involved.

So even if we did shut down official servers someday people could still play the game with their friends very easily.

that is a relief to hear - thank you for doing that

My solution would be to open this game up to mod support. I've started learning to make mods in Unreal for Operation: Harsh Doorstop and that game has the potential to really explode, all driven by community generated content. If The Mean Greens had an SDK where fans could make our own maps and gamemodes and tweak other little things here and there, this game could make a comeback.

I'd just like to briefly take a moment to thank you and the team for not only supporting & working on this game for eight years but, also actively communicating with the community. Other teams would completely seperate themselves from the community when their games slowly lost playercount.

Have you guys talked about making it F2P, adding cosmetic MTX & relaunching it?

Like frank said i'd also put something like a currency in there to buy cosmetics but i talk of ingame currency for leveling up or doing side stuff. Cus this game has no long term playability. Cosmetics are the ♥♥♥♥ nowadays. Helmets bags you name it. I've been praying this ♥♥♥♥ for years but devs aren't interested, it seems. I also think that leaving a negative review for this game at this point is valid, since it's not populated and playing with bots is no fun either.
