offline bots?
So, if I buy this on Switch, can I play with bots when the switch is not connected to the internet? (this question is really for all versions including the Steam version, but some people don't even know what offline even means. So I had to make it clear with the example of using the Switch)

Switch you CAN play offline, it's a feature we added to the switch version. When you start the game and click PLAY NOW if you are not online it will ask you if you would like to play offline.

I'm pretty sure it does (I don't have a switch otherwise I would look quick). I did ask our programmer to be sure and will let you know his response.

The Xbox version will not let you play at all unless you're online. I assume all versions are like that then.

I was thinking of getting this on the switch as well. Curious of the gameplay on it

So, visually it's really blurry and low res, but that's how a lot of 3rd party games are ported to switch. Also the gamma is usually too bright or too dark depending on the map you play and you have to manually turn up or down the gamma for each map. (for example, the Table Top Wars map is way too bright.) Also, the bot AI is broken on the "Table Top Wars" map in all modes. On that map the AI will just stand around until they see you. On the Xbox version the bots do what they're supposed to do. I also tried the kitchen and picnic maps and the AI works as intended on those as well.

If the Switch version is the only version playable offline, that's sad because the PC and Xbox versions look better and the bot AI actually works. The whole point is to be able to play the game offline with bots. And the only version that supports offline play (Switch) has broken bots and bad visual quality.

Damn that stinks. I guess I'll stick to PC. The AI can be kinda dumb sometimes on PC where they sometimes will just walk right past you

I got the switch version using some of my points. The bots really are broken. A lot of times they just stand there frozen

Thanks for letting us know about the bot issue, it's something we'll look into right away.
