This morning, game decided to run normally :-/
Thanks for that and for the update - we cannot see anything wrong in your system files, so maybe it was just a one-off glitch :) Hope it won't happen again!

Thanks for sharing that with us.
We can see that your graphics drivers are out of date, so let's get these updated:
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/170312/en-us
Let's make sure that the game is running your Nvidia card and not your Intel too:
- Right-click on your desktop and select "NVidia Control Panel"
- Click "Manage 3D settings"
- Under the Global Settings tab, under the "Preferred graphics processor:" dropdown select "High-performance NVIDIA processor"
- Under Settings, change "Power management mode" to "Prefer maximum performance"
- Press "Apply" and fully turn off the system (not a restart)
- Turn On the laptop and retest
We can also see a few crashes of different applications in your system so let's check for any issues:- Open the Windows Start Menu
- Type “cmd”
- Right-click on Command Prompt > Run as administrator
- Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes
- Press Enter
If the process has revealed/resolved and issues, please attempt to run the game againRespond with the results
Regards,
Team17 Support.
Sorry to hear you're having this issue.
Thank you for sharing your dxdiag information in advance.
Everything looks up to date!
If you have Sonic studio installed can you please uninstall this and test the game.
Please also follow the steps below to verify the game files on Epic:
- Go to your Library and click the cog icon (or the three dots if you're on a list view)
- Choose 'Verify'
If you have any overlays such as discord or the Nvidia overlay turned on, please disable this as well. Please also try unplugging all devices except your keyboard and mouse and test the game.
Get back to us when you can.

My system: https://justpaste.it/3d1pc
Sorry to hear that you are having this issue and thank you for sending over your system information. Unfortunately, Yooka-Laylee asks for a dedicated GPU to run as a minimum:
Graphics: NVidia GTS450 / AMD Radeon 6850HD
At this stage we can only advise you to upgrade your system to meet these requirements and retest.
