Security Camera Gate
I am in the Icymetric Palace going through the series of puzzle rooms and came across a room with nothing but a secury camera and gate. As soon as I walk into the securty cameras field of view the gate closes. Frustrated, I went online and saw that this room is not in any walk through and should be another puzzle. There is no mention of this sort of gate anywhere. The room is directly after the ring race room with the fire, ice, and canon balls. I feel like it means I should do something else before entering but as stated above, I cannot find anywhere online, in any walkthrough that this has been encountered by anyone else. What am I missing?

I have uploaded the images for reference here:

I don't actually remember this bit.

In any case, there's a move you'll learn later that will allow you to sneak by cameras undetected.

You need to get Yooka's ability to turn invisible to get through the gate. It's available just before World 4 at Hivory Tower.

Then why is this required to go through the main objectives in world 2?
None of the guides I see mention this, and actually show this room completely different.

I am stuck in world 2.

Backtracking is a common thing in these sorts of games.
It's supposed to give you more to see in the earlier worlds, later in the game.
There's some debate as to whether or not people like this, but I'm all for it.

I like that as well. I just mean that when I look at guides SPECIFICALLY for this room, it literally shows it to be set up differently and not have this security gate. I also have seen other people posting about this room today. I'm wondering if the devs changed some things around in the update?

Not sure why they changed this, but I guess they wanted players to come back when they were able to actually complete the entire Palace. Perhaps there was a way to become stuck by not having a certain upgrade?
