Tribalstack Tropics Sign Doesn't Give a Pagie?

Is it supposed to give a pagie after collecting all the trash? Or is the one that you collect blowing around supposed to be the pagie for that event?

Nah, I just figured out what I was missing, had to freeze over the river for the hard mode race.

Yeah I'm wondering if they took something out. It seems odd to have the ability to collect the trash, have a counter of all the trash, and then NOT give something for doing it.

I don't remember a counter for the trash? I thought the pagie was out of reach so I collected all the trash as well, but I don't recall there being a counter for them.

There was. I collected the pagie first, then the sign kept yelling at me so I went and collected all the trash too only for nothing to happen.

How do you collect the trash?

You just literally fly into them. They have kind of small hitboxes so it may take you a couple of tries (especially with the flying controls being as bad as they are).

I'd thought it was the last one until I realized that I just needed to finish getting one last quill.

It's pretty weird how this quest went. It'd be like getting the Gloomy Gem Grotto pagie halfway through, and then you discover that reaching the end doesn't get you anything but a shortcut to the start.

There is very much so a counter, as nicus9 confirmed, he gives you a different speech after you collect all of the trash.

I think it's intentional. Although it can be quite misleading if you haven't found the last page yet.
