Toybox secret robot
So if you 100% the toybox demo you get told to look for a lone rock under a tree next to a pirate ship and its in galleon galaxy and the robot from the toybox drops off from a ufo and when you talk to it it says loading exposition 50.1% and to have patience.
Does anyone know what it does and if there is some way to trigger him to do something?

I don't think there is. Having all the pirate treasures does nothing. 100% doesn't do anything. I tried running to him and blowing him up with a gernade (since that kills other inepts) and that doesn't work. At this point I think they are going to add something later.

Probably. There could be something else, but I doubt it since nobody has found it yet.

He could have a point in the future, they've said there's going to be DLC. I'm hoping for a new world or two myself.

Really? Well I could do that right now... if the game didn't softlock on the final boss. Oh well.

Never progresses. Everything moves fine but the cutscene is broken.

What do you have the in video settings set to? Also, are you using windowed mode or full screen?

Probably the highest right now. I can't remember off the top of my head. I was in windowed though.

He might not have any function until the sequel. He's probably going to be the Stop n' Swap 2.0

I heard Playtonic was planning to release a sequel titled: "Yooka Laylee & Knuckles". At the same time they would be releasing the game only on Cartridges, bundled with the Playtonic cart reader for PC and PS4. Yooka-Laylee & Knuckles will also have multiple cartridges required to play the game, as the game was too large to fit on just one, resulting in the need to change out carts when prompted on screen.

This includes expansion features for the original Yooka-Laylee, where you can insert the original cart into the sequel cart. However you will also need to swap out the sequel cart when prompted as different parts of the game will access new content.
