Can't Jump during Roll on Keyboard/Mouse

Attempting to do some of the challenges for Paiges in this game require jumping during the reptile roll. But I can't figure out how to do this while simply moving forward; if you are moving towards the camera you can do it, meaning you can't see the obstacles, and you can also do it if you are changing directions, but that is inconsistent. Is this a specific command that I haven't found? I've seen videos of people jumping with no issues, but I can't do it; is this a powerup or a weird glitch with either my keyboard or the computer version of the game?

No known issues here. In fact, I find jumping resets your direction, making ball-segments easier to get through.

You can jump with 'x' or 'spacebar' while rolling (press and hold 'shift' to become a ball). Note that when in ball form you can actually do small directional taps to go slowly if you wish to.

same issue here, trying to do a challenge that invilves jumping while rolling, and i cant. plain and simple. think i need to invest in a controller :L

I didn't 'fix' this, but I found something that did deal with it;

you can't use Space, but you can use X button. It will jump regardless of your posistion. swap to X over Spacebar while rolling to jump.
