Shovel knight quest
I'm at the top of the shovel knight quest, i see the gem but how do i get it?

I was having trouble with this as well. I managed to hit one of the eyeball enemies off of the side where he promptly bugged and spun in mid-air for eternity, and believed that I needed to use the totem to climb up and grab it. As TheEvilNoob said, shoot the gem by pressing in your L-stick to aim.
