Hi there quick question from a big Banjo fan that Im sure many would love an answer to.

Can you explain why the PC community is getting shafted on the Yooka Laylee release schedule?

I'm almost entirely indifferent about the game and when it comes out. But it's not cool to treat your customers like crap. The only thing that's upsetting me right now is how you find that hard to understand. I mean I guess I don't know you...You could be a sociopath or something, and things like trust regret and anger allude you completely and that why you don't understand? Maybe? And to make it clear. I don't care what side of this argument you stand on, but it's infuriating that you can't even see what the argument is

Simultaneous means SAME TIME when one or more of those platforms gets the release before the others that does not make it simultaneous any longer and its as simple as that.

I'd assume it'd sync with phyiscal releases dates.

Welp if you wanna go down that rabbit hole you could walk into a Gamestop in one hour from now and have it on console before people who originally backed it and probably a Walmart last night at midnight however the physical PC version just comes with a Steam key so even people who got physical PC versions have NOTHING until that switch is flipped.

So if i'm getting this right......your mad at Team17 for "reasons" Jonno gave a perfectly valid reason and everyone screeched like monkeys and proceeded to fling thier poop at him. Now as a gamer from Australia i'm used to timezones jerking me about. That is not the developers fault.

Its not breaking street date though its the literal release date PC is the ONLY one that didn't get this at midnight last night digitally and DRM free won't even be getting this at 6PM today they have to wait 5 extra hours.

Ok. I understand now. Team 17's PR person was in this thread earlier today making the situation so much worse than it should have been. Not sure you were here for that

You mean like the two automatic release dates you can choose between for Steam of their 1PM EST or Midnight? Because they both run the same way but the difference is devs are locked in when they choose one on consoles however devs can launch a title at ANY time on PC with the literal push of a button.
