Better red than dead
Edit: Better red than a MundaneMatt viewer.
It was just out of curiosity. It was nothing personal or anything.
Asks a personal question, nothing personal though.

I'm also not a communist. I probably fall under SJW, libcuck, cultural marxist, he/him
To tell the truth. From what we debated before, you didn't seen like a Sjw. If you where the debates would go very different. Youre very smart, and they are usually over-emotional.
Really late reply so sorry to necro this, but the only contribution he made to the game was the voice of an outhouse in the final world, so not much was lost lol.
Other than all the JonTron drama (and Team17 made the wrong decision), it's really not that great of a game. It's visually appealing and full of memberberries for everyone who grew up playing Banjo-Kazooie, but so does Mighty No. 9 with Mega Man fans. It's just not that fun to play.

It certainly didn't help matters with the overblown public decrying of JonTron that made Team17 come out looking like the bad guys. I don't want to support them ever again because of that little fiasco, no matter how small JonTron's part was. Cancel culture is horrible, and Team17 was completely out of line to participate in it.
The fact that this game wasn't even good for Banjo fans(the target audience) should be the enough reason to never purchase a product from Team17 ever again. This game is DK64 levels of bad in retrospect. Only slightly better than the most infamously bad collectathon that killed the genre.

On the other hand, every corporation or person has the right to terminate working with someone for their beliefs. Brands and companies don't want to be associated with stupid things or worse, whether that's the white placement conspiracy or saying all blacks are born criminals. They, have the right to distance themselves, that's freedom of speech. Is the stupidest reason to criticize this extremely bad game. Always has been.

Is that so? Because I'm pretty sure there are federal laws against terminating someone due to religious or cultural beliefs.

Free speech is an all or nothing deal. Period.

Post employment yeah, pre employment depends.

While religion is considered an immutable characteristic. You can't fire someone for being christian or atheist, you very much can fire them for telling customers they will burn in hell for blank reason. Likewise you can't fire someone for being gay or straight, this doesn't mean said person can sexually harass customers without getting fired.

The world you're suggesting, that you are forced to work with me, forced to hire me, regardless of whatever I scream at you for however long I want, sounds deeply authoritarian. I'd suggest you reconsider your beliefs.
