Step 1: Have the "Livewire" tonic equipped.
Fly over him (No contact damage here) to redirect them to him, then land immediately, keep moving around the ring until your meter is full, then when he starts moving in a circle, fly the other way. If he starts moving clockwise, fly counterclockwise to redirect the things to him, and land immediately. You may have to take off with 3/4 power to avoid a rocket but it is better than taking damage.
Your biggest allies in this fight are:
• 6 health extenders
• 6 power extenders
• sonar splosion to quickly take out the bees (Not recommended when he launches shockwaves)\
• sonar shield
• Patience. This is a REALLY hard fight (fitting, he's the final boss). Some argue whether he or Grunty from Banjo kazooie (which this game is a spiritual successor to - it's a lot of the same devs) is harder, but I say Capital B is harder because unlike grunty, he does NOT drop health between tiers, so you have to conserve health. Luckily, you get 12 hits.
Basically know where your shadow is on the ground and do a body slam to keep as much energy as possible from the start. I have done this with the butterthree tonic and you 100% need those extra energy extenders. If you are low on energy and something is about to hit you then sonar shield up for a second or if you have no energy left you can go to the center pool of acid and try to dodge it which will give you a couple of seconds before it turns around which I found to be the time needed to restore the energy bar.
i will be content with all but 2 achievements, never beating capital b, never trying again 10 hours of collecting and completing, 3 and a bit of yelling at cinematics to shut up and wishing for a checkpoint system or butterflies to glitch and fall from the heavens..
