Best combination to get research points?

Im running right now image downloader > antivirus > checksum > re-downloader > enhancer > refiner > pre-analyzer.

Is there better ones than this? Should i be using ai generators instead?

Scanned and Validated and Enhanced only increase value, not research yield. You'll want Downloader -> Data Refiner -> Pre-analyzer -> Data lab.

AI Generators have 0 research yields on their files and are thus ineffectively. Personally i just download a bulk of text file that i process. Just takes a few seconds of downloading and processing to have materials to process for an hour.

You're completely right it seems. I didn't realise quality is a base value that other multipliers are added on top of.

i found that Images yield the best research value out of all well deep into late game, maybe it's because of the size and throughput required.
i get less when i try either text or sound
i run pre-analyzer, data refiner and triple enhancer, run enhancers at last since they increase file size and therefore require more clock speed for other manipulations

tried different files again and now (at 2.9e54 money) the best yield for research is from videos. Definetely related to the bandwidth or clock speed throughput

Only the refiner and pre-analyzer help. The rest is useless for research purposes.
Btw, the pre-analyser is only worth it if you got a lot of processing power to spare. For a lot of different files, just the Refiner is better.

I wouldn't say its useless for research if the numbers go up.

I would say the enhancer definitely helps with the research numbers unless I'm missing something.

just image (5.44m/s)-> data refiner 5.4m/s -> pre-analyser 5.4m/s -> data lab 1.85m/s mk23 - Auto collector

outputing 26.4m/s
with network mk66 , node recieves 1 nineth of download speed
with precessor mk31, node recieves one nineth of a half ratio of top

my only bottleneck is the lab that can't output everything

sound is way too much volume to download and treat so outputs lower than the max of the lab, too low to surpass the value of images

edit : heck above said enhancer dosn't work for research but it does, indeed i noticed

added to my node group and now outputing 52.9m/s research points

let me clarify, i wasnt being sarcastic or joking.
the person i was replying to clearly did not have enough cpu speed to be able to make use of enhancers at the moment so it does not work for that person, meanwhile us that have the cpu speed will continue using ours because it does work

It works, but it's converting CPU into research. The CPU is also a lot more expensive to upgrade than Networking, specially once you've got the 2nd networker, so you're better off just doing the simple with compression to get more into your labs. Specially as the research increase is the same as the size increase, so you're not really gaining anything.

then you are at the stage where you dont have enough cpu. dont use enhancers then. us that have enough cpu speed will continue using our enhancers

For later game maybe, but for starting out and quite awhile.. Image is the better one to use for research.
