I pretend my Umbralist was born a female but was force-fed testosterone which led to the deep voice. I imagine Katarina is the only hope of finding a person to like me just for who I am and not for what I once was.

Don't worry, I understand you didn't have any bad feelings about it and I guess people are very defensive, but many "people" have been installed in the videogame community with demands of feminism for games that they aren't even interested, and we just tend to be...well yeah, defensive.

As I posted in another topic about this, maybe in future games about the saga (too much time and money for a patch for hire a female voice actor and change all the script) Van Helsing could be a "clan" name, so any descendant from the Van Helsings could bear the Van Helsing title, no matter the gender.

So you could choose gender of any class and they would just address you as "Van Helsing" without mentioning the gender.

VH3 should have just been a DLC for VH2, kinda lame they used almost everything from VH2 and just modified it.

Actually it is the story about the Son of that Guy - it could have also been his daughter.

Many of us would have liked a female Van Helsing - it is simply scrapped because of the difficulties with all the dialogs and the voice acting.
