Got one more question about Van Helsing III,
which classes can use the two handed swords atleast ? Umbralist and also Protector; or is the Protector bound to sword & board ?
Protector uses a few weapons that are classically two-handed weapons in the real world, but will always have a sword and shield combination. His larger swords and axes are just slower to swing.
These are the only two melee-based characters in VH3.
The trick here is that some Skills base their damage off the weapon damage of the class. So slower, higher base-damage weapons will provide much more powerful Skill damage than faster, smaller base-damage weapons. Since you can also increase the attack speed of the character, you can compensate for the slower weapons to increase overall damage per second.
