Margarite Entertainment’s Upcoming Steam Releases
We truly appreciate everyone's enthusiasm! In response to the concerns, we would like to clarify that Margarite Entertainment has obtained the rights to a few classic titles (including Big Rigs Over the Road Racing) worldwide, and they will be released on Steam!

While we were not planning the formal announcement today, we wanted to thank GXZ95 (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT9Efek9kURER0MGqRJUYAA) for video and SteamGridDB (https://www.steamgriddb.com/) for their asset. We have contacted GXZ95 via email and obtained his consent.

As an aside, we wanted to clarify that the SteamGridDB was just some altered box art, and we did not need their permission for use.

Of course, we should have credited them. As mentioned before, we were not planning on making an announcement today.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support.

We will check the Steam discussion regularly, and players are always welcome to send us feedback at https://forms.office.com/r/RzHXwSHthk.

I would like to know the price of this game.

Okay then, what about the 1% that DON'T know about the game's infamy and think this is a fun racing title? That is a surefire way to mislead and deceive people, especially when you make them pay for the game. I'm telling you right now, this being paid in any sense would be a full-blown scam to anyone unaware of the game's origins. It doesn't help that the game is already free on MyAbandonware and you can literally download the full game for free with all of the infamous bugs and glitches from the original 2003 release. Even though it is 1% of people who don't know what they'll be getting into, it could be hundreds, thousands, or even millions of people. Slapping a price tag on this game is just going to make this game a total scam all over again. There are so many other places online where this game is completely free to download with no catch, like the Internet Archive. And guess what? Stuff like IA and MyAbandonware are probably the main places where people tried out the game to see just how bad it was in the first place. This game was literally being sold at Walmart alongside a ton of other shovelware titles from that era. It was a scam at launch because it tricked the ones who bought it with its deceiving box art and game description, I mean, it literally had a picture of a police car on the front cover, and even mentioning to stay 'one step ahead of the law' on the back of the game box. Don't you think something like that could happen again? If the game was completely free on Steam then I wouldn't have any issues at all with the game having a Steam release. The only way for this not to be a scam is for it to be a free-to-play title. Even though 1% is a small percentage of people it could still be a lot of people. Even though I am fully aware of this game's origins and its infamy, I will refuse to pay anything on this game. $20, $10, $5, it doesn't matter, it will still be a scam. Even just a dollar is way too much for this game. The only way I'll try this on Steam is if it's a freeware title. And the game publisher hasn't even stated how they are going to get this game to fully work on modern versions of Windows, either, so how will I know if I'll even be able to run the game at all?

It's almost like Gabe said that piracy is not a pricing issue, but a service issue...huh.
Well they aren't hiding the quality anymore, that's the difference. They are showing trailers of the game on the store page, they are displaying the 8% Metacritic score proudly. If someone somehow buys this expecting quality then lol

Y'all got any janky Eastern European FPS games? I need whatever the Big Rigs of the shooter world is.
