Can anyone tell me what to change in this file to make the game window a more reasonable size?
Just dosbox (set-up already so you don't even need to mount harddrive-space and set emulated hardware on your own) because it's all that's actually needed to run the game on a post-DOS OS... What would you want MORE?
It's super-convenient already, runs stable and scales to high resolutions while not looking bad at that.
I have mine set in a windowed screen of 1600x900. I can play it in full screen but at the OP states I find that if i Alt Tab out of it (too look at the star map etc) then I return to find a tiny windowed screen.
I fixed this by altering the dosbox_st25.conf file options (c:/Programfiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/star trek 25th anniversary/dosbox_st25.conf)
fullscreen=false
windowsresolution=1600x900 (enter what you like here)
output=opengl
You also have to make sure you type in "fixed" for the entry "fullresolution".
