So letz play with mouse.

first: Save the "defaultini." file in the order "config" in a new order of your choice.
second: opening ( dubbelclick ) the origin "default.ini" in the order "configs"
than scroll down to:

Question at the Hub? How can i use the 4+5 Key on Mouse.
Where/How can i see how it calls?

Don't make it so complicated. There is a mouse control file, that can be selected from the game's menu:

It's included in the GOG version, I don't know why they removed it for the Steam version.

No idea about buttons 4+5, though.

mouse works nice finding it beter than 360 controler can youse a mouse macro for the 4 and 5 buttons

Thankyou for the original post and following replies. I would have got a cheap stick but been flying using mouse/keyboard for so long I kinda prefer it.

Although way too late for the original query, for future reference, the downloaded mouse flight control file Schmatzler provided the link to, needs to be copied into the configs folder in the main game folder. Once done, launch the game and the mouse and keyboard option will then show up as available to select via the 'Control Style' button in the Controls option menu.
