[Spoilers!] Shaq-Fu: The Major Points of Soloing Artifact Adventure with a Shaman
EXPLAINING THE NAME
My first time attempting to solo Shaman this game, I used 4 Shamen and named them SHAA, SHAB, SHAC, and SHAD. I chose SHAC as my main character. When restarting the game, I named the one Shaman SHAQ in honor of SHAC and because I found it ridiculous!

WHY SOLO SHAMAN?
Before this run, I thought Shaman would be an easy way to solo the game. (I already soloed it as a Warrior and I know Dreamer can also solo.) I was wrong. It is possible, however.

WHEN TO FIGHT VS. WHEN TO RUN
If you can easily win the fight such as with the Literature spell and you want the EXP or/and money from victory, go ahead. It's generally better to fight throughout the game once you let your teammates die so you don't need to wait until the end to power level.

However, once you have enough money to spare, using the Pot of Fate to power level around Frostiven is wise. Get to the max level of 50 efficiently.

STARTING GIFT
Artifacts. The critical hit immunity is vital to easily beat the Swamp King. (I tried using the airship as usual for me and couldn't beat either final boss.)

FINAL BOSS
Swamp King. Destroy the 3 tower artifacts.

MOST IMPORTANT GEAR
Weapon: Icefyre

Shield: Shimmering Shield (Greenvale Well)

Hat: Circlet (Bandits' Base)

Armor: Bombproof Armor (Volcano side) OR Stargazer's Robe (Ice House)

Accessory: Crystals of Life (Ice Cavern)

Elixirs: Drink ALL of them! (Elixirs of Health, Magic, Wisdom, Strength, Guile, and Fortitude)

Town Warpers: All of them. Useful for quickly navigating the world.

MOST IMPORTANT ARTIFACTS
Early Game
-Death's Path: Exit areas you've (nearly) completed!

-Guile of the Bandit!: Lets you reliably flee from foes and gives +5 Speed.

-Noble Knight's Shield: Passive HP bonus.

-Purifying Light: Useful to remove Poison on yourself before getting a Circlet.

-Sun and Moon: Occasionally useful to change the time.

-Thrill of Victory: Useful throughout for power leveling.

-Thunder Mouse: Hurts a group of foes.

-Wind Traveler: Walk faster on the overworld.

Mid-Late Game
-Berserker's Rage: You'll be physically attacking bosses much of the time with Icefyre. This helps you win, especially against the Ancient Swordsman in the Girl's Graveyard who guards the Light of Rebirth! (This was the only way I could deal enough damage to beat the Girl's Graveyard.)

-Light of Rebirth!: The most important spell against bosses due to fully healing for 13 MP!

-Nihil Barrier: Somewhat useful against elemental damage.

-Poison Barrier: Useful for Poison Cave primarily.

-Thunder of Redemption: Useful for damaging groups of Undead foes, especially pre-Icefyre.

-Thunder Spirit: An upgrade to Thunder Mouse and especially useful before getting Icefyre.

-Wind Stairs: Useful on the Swamp King Castle's Phantom Titan boss to help ensure you go before him, assuming your speed is otherwise maxed from Guile of the Bandit and Elixirs of Guile. Also grants you access to the Frostiven warper.

How the frig are you still in this game? To be fair, I suppose that some people do want to get every possible last secret, and kudos to that.

I'm just happy that someone figured out the Gold Dungeon slightly more than a year ago now, and that more or less gave me closure.

I knew the game so well that I wanted to try soloing with a Shaman since it seemed easy due to Icefyre. It was more slow than easy.

what do you use as starting gift when soloing the different classes?

i guess artifacts and warrior does best with airship. and key is more for learning plot of the game.
