Framerate issues?
Anyone else experiencing a massive drop in FPS on this game? when standing still I am solid 60, but as soon as there is movement I drop to low 30s. It is killing the experience for me. I mean, I know this is a AAA title and all, but come on! HAHA! Oh yeah, I should mention I have a 4790k with a 780 ti. I don't think I should have a problem here. Also, yes drivers, yes Windows update, yes turning on and off PC, and yes doing headstands in the middle of the freeway. Also I changed to adaptive, on, off, and app settings in Control Panel.

My fps is fine until I get to the 3d world, where it drops dramitcally from time to time(mostly when lots of effects are happening). Considering I can run various other games perfectly fine, it seems odd that the 3d worlds would drop my frames so much. The boss that drops mines out of his back(I forget his name, haunted forest guy) made my game slow down so much.

Really odd, heres to hoping its a common problem and it gets fixed.

I thought I noticed it in the 2D areas, very little stutter like, did that just stutter? kinda thing. Now that I'm in the 3D world it's pretty bad. I keep getting hit, and missing jumps because of it. I had to stop. My system is WELL enough capable of running this game. Something has to be wrong. I am on a fresh install of Windows also, so I know it's not that. I do a fresh install about every 6 months.

Lower your settings when you get to Alpha Mountain. The 2.5D with lighting will destroy the framerate!

Even with my system!? This game shouldn't be using even half the power of my computer! Ugh. I will try it though.

I blame 2.5D in general. When Bionic Commando Rearmed came out on PC it couldn't run on 90% of peoples computers at the time of its release. 2.5D just makes having stable framerates in games near impossible due to its ''advanced'' technology.

Thanks for the info. I am just floored about this. I'm going to try it now. I hope it doesn't really hinder the quality much. I didn't spend a coupld thousand building my rig for it not to be able to play games an NES should be able to handle! HAHA!

Okay, so I've tried 3 controllers, and keyboard to play, all three graphics settings, and I wasn't losing my mind that I thought it was stuttering during the 2D gameplay as well. Still, nothing is working. IDK why I have such a hard time with this game. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate. I seriously just don't get it. I can play games like Far Cry 4 and GTA 5 and not dip under 60FPS, but not Evoland....WHAT!?

Are you kidding me!!?? I had to turn on Windows Aero!! UGH....Something so stupid! I keep me desktop on basic, so I get every last drop out of my GPU, and this broke Evoland! HAHA!
