I'm searching for hours now and can't seem to find the way of getting to it.
In the past there is nothing. In the present the inventor doesn't want to talk with me and in the future I cann't reenter the caves.
Just a small hint on what to do would really help.

Get back at the top of the pyramide to get the flying machine and give to the inventor in th epresent.

They just say it's broken and useless(Don't know the exact wording, using German language)

Mit der Flugmaschine musst du ins Sturmtal zum Erfinder und danach in der Zukunft hin. Da musst du einen speziellen Magilithen finden und dann gibt es danach ne Menge zu tun^^

And what does the inventor tells you exactly ?

Die Idee hatte ich, aber leider ist scheinbar das Spiel verbuggt oder mit fehlt ein Schritt davor?
Ich kann die Flugmaschine nicht mitnehmen.

I guess there's something you haven't triggered because it's not the speech he should have.
But I have no clue about what it could be sorry ...

Just found it. The speech I told you about is the one he gives when you enter his "area". For some reason it seems like if you enter it oriented at the right fence you automatically back out again and it triggers again when you enter it once more. But if you enter it oriented at the left fence you stay there and can talk to him again. I just now found out about that and it is really confusing.

Thank you Simand. This solved my problem as well. I think it is probably a bug.

Hey thank you for the orientation, I had the same problem couldn't pick up the flyingwheel and had issues to trigger the correct speech with the inventor.

I think it's on purpose, to maintain a sotryline flow without skipping steps.
