Can you send me your backup file at julia@shirogames.com so we can try and get you out of here?
If you're playing on a PC, you can find it there
C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Evoland 2\save
and it should be named "save.dat"
I finished the game, and it was a blast throughout. I do suggest hiring a proofreader or editor, however. There were a large number of errors throughout the script. If you are interested in someone helping you for a modest fee, let me know; I'm a technical writer.
I created a new save and used Cheat Engine to watch what changed when I moved my character. I then found the segment responsible for updating the position. Once I knew that, I experimented with pressing keys when up against an impassible object and seeing what checks were made. I was finally able to override those checks (basically null out the code) to allow movement without checking for objects.
I returned to my previous save, activated the cheat, walked out of the wall, deactivated the cheat, and cried tears of joy.
