Evoland Legendary Edition vs Evoland Collector's Pack
Both are sold on Steam to different prices, even though most of the ppl are claiming the content would be the same. The Collector's Pack is atm pricier while there's no actual description which explains why or what it includes except for the two games.

The majority of ppl who responded to this topic in the past claimed that the legendary edition is the cheaper AND better supported (for example in terms of controller- or the engine support) version.
However, there do also exist claims that the two seperate sold games of the Collector's Edition might run smoothier and that the "legendary edition" came up as console port with some limitations.

...and that is why I came up with the topic, cause this is quite irritating.

Does someone have reliable infos to this topic? It was also mentioned in previous post that they didn't sell those two games seperately anymore for some time. So, how comes they are still selling the Collector's Pack if there is seemingly no Bonus like the Soundtrack, Artbook or Co included to explain its higher price? Does that mean, it's true that the legendary edition is buggy?

I don't know what's going on with Evoland. Evoland's purchasing options are very confusing. I bought Evoland many years ago, before Evoland 2 was released, and finally decided to get the sequel.

Last week, I bought Evoland 2 without realizing that there was a Legendary Edition, but fortunately Steam automatically gave me the Legendary Edition. At first, I thought Legendary Edition was an updated version of Evoland 1, so I installed it and Evoland 2, until I realized both games are included.

The next issue is the DLCs for Evoland 2 appear to be unavailable for purchase. The Steam pages are still there, but they can't be bought, and neither Evoland 2 nor Legendary Edition have DLC sections. That is sad, because I wanted to buy the soundtrack!

This is a mess.

I recently bought Evoland 2 (by itself for a reason, and as the other person mentioned, I received the Legendary edition, unexpectedly, as well).

The one and only reason I know of, and the reason I bought 2 solo was the fact that the options menu is kept intact. Apparently, you can't adjust graphics in the Legendary edition, and if you are on an old, cruddy computer with a junk video card, the 3D sections will slow to a crawl. If you have the solo version of the game, you game adjust the graphics down to make those parts run more smoothly.

*push*

I'm adding now my own experience with the Legendary Edition. The Legendary Edition is buggy and is at this state pretty much unplayable.

A Developer/Publisher which guarantees in its shop a language support (english, german, french) and claims that this language support does exist (like full controller support) while it's none-existent, cause the Legendary Edition doesn't have any Options-Menu or something compareable for changing settings & co, should be getting banned or punished by VALVE.

However, that is my experience with the Legendary Edition Bundle. I can't say, whether this counts for everyone. My guess is that the Legendary Edition lacks some file(s) which allow(s) the support of an options-menu (like some DLL-files which originally existed in the seperately sold two games Evoland I + II). Problems like a DLL-conflict might be possible, too.

Personally, I don't get how this problem has been permanently overseen even though there do exist older threads with the same topic here on STEAM.

I can only recommend everyone not to buy this crappily compiled game-bundle.

Here's my personal and short picture gallery of my first and only minutes of this game! Enjoy!

P.S.: especially if you understand german (unlike japanese, whatever) enjoy the comments of every picture-masterpiece! Enjoy the depth of those... dull (?)... comments. My regards!
