MX vs. ATV Unleashed/ crashing on load up and black screen on start up

so i love this game since i was a kid and i was so happy to get it i bought it on PC CD and on steam lol but both are having the same issue sometimes i can get in to the game with out being black screen but if im able to get in and try to load in to the game it will crash and say MX vs. ATV Unleashed has stopped responding but now im facing both even when i can start up the game its always black screen so when i get to the main screen its still black does anyone know why is that or is it because i have newer hardware that the game don't like ?

I don't know about cd versIon, but it helped me with steam version

same issues, is there a new fix to this annoying glitch, or did i just buy a dead game!?

i fixed it

bleedingmeblack go to the game and right click it where ever your screenshot is and go to compatibility and then disable fullscreen optimizations it fixed it for me

Hi. copy and replace this files to Data folder h_ttps:/www.mediafire.com/file/1mbc4bbt3c9izn8/MX_Vs_ATV_Unleashed_Patched_Tracks.zip/file

bumpvr all i had to do was go to the game folder right click on mx vs atv EXE and go to compatibility tap and check disable full screen optimization once checked click apply and click ok and start the game up
