Anyone remembers an old arcade game name, same style, where 4 commandos start with a Jeep? (I know, not much info)

Not sure but you drive Jeeps, tanks ect in Ikari Warriors though you on your own.

It isn't Ikari. I watched those videos and looked for those Ruzan mentioned but it is not any of these. I found one called Mercs which seems a lot with the one I'm looking for, not sure though. It was like 20-25 years ago I used to play this game a lot for the short period of time it stayed in my local arcade.

Was it released for computers of that time period, Spectrum, C64 or a later period like AtariST and Amiga ect or maybe NES, Master System?
I gather it was a top down/birds eye view like this game not a sidescroller?
So many great games back in the C64 era, it wasn't Cannon Fodder by chance either?
There was Rambo also?
Others good one's i remember playing a lot though not strictly like you described were Zombies Ate My Neighbours, Alien Breed, Gauntlet, Airborne Ranger were all great top down shooters and who can forget the amazing Paradroid :)

who dares wins 2 was a rip off of Commando, but both were still good at the time, however id love to own the real arcade version of commando by Capcom.it was the manic music at the end of each stage i liked.

Yes man the music for Commando was epic for the time, i thing it won a lot of awards iirc.

Who Dares Wins was kind of an indie version of the big boy Capcom Commando but i am sure it came out before Commando, i might be wrong however.

I prefered Who Dares Wins at the time as it was the first one i played, i still remember me and a friend from school both competing with each other seeing who could get furthest and seeing who was going to be the first of us to beat it lol.

We were the same with Space Harrier as well :)

who dares wins came out roughly at same time but WDW2 was about a year later, commandoes arcade 1985 speccy and c64 same year as rambo ikari warriors and platoon etc but none could touch the original 85 Commando Arcade coin op that ALL these copied.period.:)

Who dares win 2 also is the ONLY one of the above NOT to be an arcade game previously. Its a blatant commando clone..So commando had to come out before it.not the other waya round.
