Error BASS_ChannelSetAttributes function not found in bass.dll

WTF i just re downloaded the game after not playing for many months and i get this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everytime i open the game. does anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

bring up windows explorer and do a search for bass.dll, it should show 1 in plants vs zombies and 1 in a windows folder, delete the copy in windows and now plants vs zombies should work

I did all above and it still doesn't work for me. :(

In my laptop running win 7 x64 game works fine. But can't seem to make it work on my desktop, I don't know what's going on.

Solution here:

-Go into C:/Windows/SysWOW64
-There should be a single file called bass.dll
-Remove it
-Start the game
