I don't know if this matters, but I'll add that I'm using an evga gtx 970 oc (newest driver as far as I know) and an LG E2270 set in Win 7 64 to 1920x1080 (native res).
The game isn't that old and since it's considered a newer "classic" (for the casual genre at least) by most people, it's a shame that it hasn't been updated by popcap. Seems like it'd be easy and would result in more future pc sales for the company.
Well that makes sense as to why no HD update. I feel that popcap would have gotten around to it. But EA? I don't think it will ever happen now.
What WILL happen, if anything happens, is that we will have to buy the whole game again in an HD edition. That's good and fine for new players, but I won't buy it.
That's not widescreen, it's just stretched to fit the screen.
