Plants for Zen Garden?

I remember on the xbox version of PvZ, and you were able to get gift boxes with plants in them for zen garden. Haven't seen any on the windows version, is that still in?

no its only a special feature of xbox & iOS version along with co-op and vs.

Okay so how do you get the plants?

you get them by playing the game after finishing the adventure mode AKA Survival,Adv Again, and minigames and also you can get them from daves shop but only marigold plants from him for the garden others you just need to find them naturally

When I played this game some years ago I got a lot of Zen Plants in the Survival Modes, the main reason I bought it on Steam was because I never got to collect all the plants and I had fond memories of it, but so far I only got like 5 plants after hours and hours and days of Adventure-Mini Games-Survival-Etc.. So dissapointed.

thats odd, i get plants for my Zen garden. but, i think it was only AFTER i finished the main game the first time. i get them failr reguar now.

I get plants quite regularly for Zen Garden when playing any game mode, though I usually play certain minigames or survival to get some. They're still in there, but the drop rate might be a bit lower than on xbox.

you get plants after the garden unlocks you can get them in the normal story mode aswell as survival
