Lost progress due to Steam Cloud. How to restore? [solved]

Every launch game offer me to use Steam Cloud. I tried once and lost all ingame progress. Next launch offer me to make a new user. Cloud just not working. Ok.

I've played two months and today accidentally pressed ok on cloud offer.
HOW I CAN NOW RESTORE MY GAME PROGRESS?

I don't think you can.The Cloud save file will most likely have written over your local save file and there is nothing you can do to undo that.
You can disable the cloud support for games(either all or just selected game) in either the Steam setting(for all games) or at the properties of a game(for just that game)

So why developers didn't disable this ****ing cloud for their game? Why i should spend my money and then spend my nerves?

I don't know.The port isn't really good either (there isn't even 16:9 support) and I couldn't even play this game when I tried to play it on a MacBook (I think I read that it was an issue with the save there as well which would crash the game).

And yet the still made updates for the iOS version years after the release just to make it more Pay2Win and more Free2Play like (where you had to pay for Mini-Games or plants for the Zen Graden)

I found it!
Go to folder "C:\ProgramData\Steam\PlantsVsZombies", remove folder "userdata", and rename "userdata_backup" to "userdata"

Note: this solution can restore only _one_ last session. If you accept offer twice - you lost all forewer.

Strange,normally are the save files for games with Steam Cloud support located somewhere else and not at the games file.

it was my local files, fortunatelly game backed up them.

I want to thank @alcr for this solution, it actually worked for me.
but i didnt replaced userdata_backup to userdata, just erased userdata and steam used backup in order to restore saves ^_^

i did what you said and then in the userdata backup file that i renamed i deleted data that had save the save progress of today and then when i went into the game it said steam cloud or local and i chose local but its still glitched please help
