I tried BlueStacks a long time ago, way to laggy.
Bluestacks is a lot faster than it used to be especially once it started running Jellybean and currently KitKat, but Andy runs PvsZ 2 better if you have a decent PC, the only game I have problems with in Andy is Simpsons Tapped Out (it's fine in Bluestacks).
Fragile code maybe
Since Pepperoni didn't clarify enough, this SHOULD solve your problem.
Get either Lossless Scaling or MagPie scaling softwares. Run the game on the Windowed mode and scale that window into fullscreen with those softwares. When I tested these, I got the best quality out of the Anime4K filtering. The game is still in 4:3 ratio, since it's made only for that ratio, but you can of course change ratio with the tools if needed.
this game will stay as its forever basically unless it gets sold to someone willing to -re-invest in a 20ish year old game just for video is doubtful no money to be made on such efforts for the total code rework to fix the video options from its ordinal form way back when it was originally made several decades ago.
Add the Widescreen mod (GitHub: HenryJk/PvZWidescreen) and it'll be perfect.
Didn't work, and it removed my saved game. And there's no install instructions with it at all. Great mod
