The shroom plants are best to go with, especially the sun, puff, scaredy & fume shrooms (which you can easily learn about in the plant almanac) are basic necessities to attain enough sun & power to make your way through the night levels. You will also find the sea-shroom (similar to puff shroom, but specifically for pool) & plantern (to prevent approaching fog) very helpful on the pool & fog night levels. You will need to use shroom plants regularly to complete night levels. Start planting the sun & puff shrooms right away in addition to the sunflowers when you can - puff shrooms are free & recharge quickly, so plant rows of them to fight off zombies until you are able to afford better shooters.

Hey, no problem and you're most welcome. Have fun with it! I've played the game about 200 times all the way through and I still enjoy it. ^_^ And thank you kindly for the award points! <3

depending on how far youre in the game. if you are around the beginning/middle area you can use the shrooms that require 0 sunlight and also use the shroom that uses 25 light because once it grows it give you the same amount as a regular sunflower. Focus on putting the 0 sunlight shrooms on the 3rd square closest to the zombies and then slowly build them backwards by three. If you have them at the 3rd one, they are able to kill normal zombies by the time it makes it to them. After a while of building up sunlight you should be able to use the pea shooter and then walnut for extra protection. That is what i always do and it works out.

Personally I dont use grave diggers at all just to save myself some space for a plant that attacks. I have never used the grave digger plant on any levels before and ive always just worked my way around the graves.

id say to use sunflowers over sunshrooms. also potato mine for early game

If further input on this is welcome, I actually use both the sunflower & sun-shroom in tandem and find that more effective because you don't have to wait as long to plant a sun-producer as one becomes available while waiting for the other & vice versa. So I end up planting one back lawn row of each (5 each) and I seem to build up sun faster since the sun-shrooms continue to grow & produce as much as a sunflower before too long.. works out pretty well in accumulating sun faster, I've found.

Hey, Donut King, one more thing - in case you don't already do it, remember to visit the shop as you're picking your plants before you start the level and buy the garden rake to take out the first zombie each level and give you some leverage. The rake only costs 200 and lasts 3 levels - I consistently use it and just remembered to encourage and remind you to, though you may already do it.

WTG, Donut King! :steamhappy: :ttrengine: It'll be even more fun the next full playthrough around, you'll see, especially if you've earned the full allotment of plant slots (which takes awhile building up your zen garden &/or earning coins). You're welcome for the points, and more are due & shall be given for your triumphant achievement!

Hahaha, okay, I won't since you asked... buuuut I am tempted to do so anyway because it's fun to give to fellow peeps & gamers whom are deserving. ;-) You're not at all in my debt, I don't give gifts with ulterior motives or expectations, so we're good. And thank YOU for all the points you've given which are far more than you've received and I totally appreciate them! :steamhappy: Have fun with your future levels & full gameplays, don't let yourself become discouraged or too frustrated to continue, because it *does* get more fun & stimulating as you build up coins, plant slots and game achievements . :spookypumpkin:
