plants vs. zombies

I just bought Plants vs. Zombies from the steam store and the sound nor FX work. theres not sound i checked my skyrim and other steam games and they are fine. please ask the devs to please look into making a patch or helping me in this situation thank you. oh i redownloaded it many times so its something in the audio package i'm thinking. it myay be mmissing somethjing for windows 8.1. ((((( Turn off reltek enhanced audio in sound manager problem fixed. please refer below to the problem being resolved. thank you all.)))))***

the game is pretty old and doesn't get any support from any devs anymore unfortunately. sry about that

A few days late, but am sorry to say that the sound issue is absolutely on Your end. I've had PvZ GOTY for nearly 10yrs, on multiple gaming rigs, and have never had an issue. Maybe:
1) Verify game files
2) make sure your drivers are up-to-date
3) From PvZ main screen -> Options -check Music & Sound Fx
Can't speak for Win8.1, but have played it on XP, 7, 10 all Pro versions without a single issue

Yeah i found out that i had to turn my 7.1 reltek enhanced enviroment settings off. its strange it used to work off reltek when i had i downloaded from wild tangent. any how thanks for the reply its the software must be an older version then the PC versssion i had. thank you again.
