32 Bit No Longer Works On Mac

Anybody else know if they're going to do something to sort that? Because I don't have a Windows PC or Bootcamp, I don't really want them, and I just want to play the game I bought :/

Sadly, it seems as though Apple has abandoned 32-Bit completely, if I've heard correctly.

This game used to be owned by Popcap Games, but sadly for some years now EA Games owns it. Therefore do NOT look for any patches or answers from that direction.

It is also unlikely Steam will have an answer, although it's more likely than with EA (but anything is better than 0%). You could try to contact Steam customer service and describe your problem, maybe they are working on it since your problem would apply to many games as well?

Another possible answer- depending on your skill level, don't be afraid to ask around if you don't know- is emulation. You may not like it but it could be the only way barring an answer from Steam or some hack somewhere.

Good luck. That was an insanely stupid thing Apple did if in fact they did abandon 32-Bit apps.

Steam isn't doing anything about it, and I doubt the developers will either.

You can try installing an older version of pvz it worked on pc but I did see a mac version in the archive as well. I hope it works for you.

Exactly how would that help?

The issue is not with PvZ, the issue is with OS Catalina, since Apple disabled 32-bit support, which means 32-bit apps do not work on Macs, unless they are running pre-Catalina. PvZ is and always has been a 32-bit program, with no 64-bit alternative, so it literally does not matter what version you would use, the end result would be the same. OP has to either downgrade, switch to PC or have Mojave 10.14 or older installed on a separate APFS.
