Can't use Full Screen

Um I just recently bought the game during the summer sale and as I played it I tried to use the full screen but it wouldn't let me...Help?

The game can bug out sometimes just relaunch it and if it keeps happening reinstall it

Just downloaded PVZ after months of not playing it and for some reason I couldn't go Fullscreen (Same problem as Salamander). I just did what Thefuzz1234555 did and I've still got the problem

do not use fullscreen, you cant set the resolution to another.
it will be just 800x600 ♥♥♥♥♥♥ quality

Libary -> rightclick PvZ - > properties -> Gamespecific Overlay Settings... set to "OFF"
Then ingame check the fullscreenbox.
That set my game to 1920x1080. Then check 3d acc bob to fix the distortion.
I know it's an old thread. But i had the same problem and stumbled into this post.
And reinstalling is an overkill solution.

Turn on Fullscreen and turn off 3Dacceleration in settings. I had same problem and this fixed it

This might be a new bug introduced through a Windows update. I never had this problem yesterday or any of the days before.

I had to turn ON 3d Acceleration from within the game Options

had the same issue, turning on 3d acceleration also fixed it for me, you can toggle it in ingame settings next to the fullscreen option
