Canabalt
Super Hexagon and Boson X...
Are far superior as runners, both in gameplay, graphics, and music.

I will keep working at this one though; I did have it for the phone and didn't get hooked. I thought I would give it another go.

Super Hexagon isn't an endless runner

Yeah good point actually. Either way, its in the same vein, and is superior.

Apples and oranges. That's like saying 'N' is better because it has an actual ninja. They both started as flash games, so same vein.

Boson X is also a largely different game; Boson X is better than Temple Run or Minion Rush (games which are actually comparable in gameplay).

how is super hexagon in the same vein? it uses 2 buttons and is a totally different game... not even remotely close in gameplay either.

I played Canabalt some more, and I still fail to see how it is even remotely as fun as Super Hexagon or Boson X. And, yes, they are comparable. It is a VERY small genre.
