I have started a wiki on good robot!
Hello everyone, I have started a wiki on good robot, at http://goodrobot.wikia.com/wiki/Goodrobot_Wikia

Right now working to put all weapons in one handy table for comparing. If anyone feels up to the task of writing something useful there - feel free to do that!
Please note that it's my first try at starting a wiki )))

Excellent, thank you!

Snazzy! Cleaned up the wiki a little and added a Soundtrack page (FYI, Shamus has a 'bonus' track that isn't in the game on his SoundCloud. Will look at adding Enemies/Bosses, Maps/Icons and Hats tomorrow when it's not 3am :p

Added 'Factories' and placeholders for Enemies: Spawns and Bosses.

Finished Maps/Icons and Hats. I'll tackle Bosses and Achievements later :)

No probs, thanks for making a game worthy of a wiki :)

Added a basic contents to the front page and finished Achievements. That gives us 10 (mostly) fleshed out pages. I think we officially have ourselves a wiki :steamhappy:

Much of what's in the wiki seems essential to understanding and playing the game. Perhaps the developer should consider hosting the wiki and make it accessible in the game.

I wouldn't say the wiki is essential, but hopefully it fleshes out more easily what you can discover from playing the game, just depends on how long you're willing to figure it out on your own. Something like the Terraria wiki is essential to do anything in that game :)

Finished the Upgrade and Shops pages. Robots / Bosses next.

If it wasn't for this wiki it would take a long time to figure out the meaning behind the door symbols, for example. This is a casual game. People like myself play them because our time is limited. I can't spend hours trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do. Just saying I believe the wiki's information is essential to get right into the enjoyment of a quick play through. All respect to the developer for making a great game, but a tutorial or guide should have been made in the first place.

Added Bosses / Minibosses / Minions, Chests, AI Core, Body Type and reworked the Weapons pages. Think it's just the Spawn / Robots page to go.

Took until I was holding one while looking at a loot-drop of the other to realise that there are distinct "Proton Repeater" and "Electron Repeater" items -- can only see the latter listed in the wiki, still not 100% sure which is better

Compared to Electron, Proton appears to have larger projectiles, lower rate of fire, and gets one extra bounce... unsure of damage output though.

I've added the Proton Repeater to the wiki. Looking at the stats shows it does substantially less damage (60) than the Electron Repeater (110) and has a slower fire rate (10 for PR, 8 for ER, where lower is better/faster) so as far as Damage Per Second the Electron Repeater has more than double the Proton Repeater.

That being said, after reading through the data files I'm not sure how you got the Proton Repeater as it doesn't drop and you don't start with it (you start with the Sparkplug Blaster). Proton Repeater is in the game files only as 'default' (with line-by-line comments on what the weapon stats mean) and doesn't actually sit in any weapon Tier or loot table. It looks like the Proton Repeater was the original name for the Ion Repeater as it has almost identical stats.

Huh, that's odd. I've definitely not modified anything - went looking to see if I could find it in the config files to figure out which was better, but I'd already got it at that point.

Not sure whether I first got it as a loot-drop or a store item, but I definitely saw it as a loot drop again after switching to the Electron Repeater. This would have been around the end of Level 4, maybe the start of Level 5

(I didn't get very far into 5 before dying in a blaze of "Oh god, oh god, there are snakes in the walls", so I think it was more likely level 4)

Edit: Just got the Proton Repeater again, as a loot-drop in Level 2.
