Dead?

is this game dead as in are we not gonna get a next chapter i really loved the game but there has been no news for awhile that i know of

It is safe to say that this is a dead/abandoned game. No updates in 2 years. Claims of chapter 1 release in 2016 and nada.

Then they should atleast provide some updates to prove that they didn't abandon the game. Even a single screenshot would had been nice. Been 2 years already and nothing but claims that they will release Chapter 1-3 together.

Seems pretty unprofessional to work on a new project when you got an ungoing project that you didn't even finish yet.

So we've gone from 'Here's the intro, chapters 1-3 to come in the future', to 'Hey we're adding voice acting to the demo!' to radio silence, to a VN comic. Which what even is that? All i can envision is just a web comic, which sounds dissapointing. Unless it's a VN that just updates episodically, weekly or monthly as stated. I could swallow that. But i'm prepared to be bummed. Being bummed i can get over, it's this waiting, this like, pseudo-hope.

Sad fact but probably the case. I supported them as being between the first purchasing Toko back in 2015 , but seems her story will go unfinished at least not be in form acceptable for us.

The fact how often they even check here on Steam, makes me wondering about a few things.

I guess that's what it was. They had both to work with, and were only really able to pursue one project. Still tho, i feel like i've heard this exact explanation before, a lot further back than 2 months ago. Feels like deja vu? IDK i could be wrong

Yeah at this point the only way I'll believe they intend to release any more of this apparently stillborn franchise is when it's actually released and downloading on my PC. Like others said, it's a shame because it's a great concept and does a lot of great setup, but it's been five years of "soon, for really reals".

Guys just because you release through Steam doesn't mean you have to work on Valve Time.
