Latest Steam VR 180 degrees off?
On another dev box I updated the firmware and installed the latest Steam VR and it thinks I'm facing 180 degrees the opposite direction. I guess I'll re-calibrate it by pointing the controller at the wall opposite of my desk when it asks where my screen is. But has anyone else had this problem?

Weirdly, I tried pointing the controller at the back wall instead of my monitor during calibration to reverse the volume orientation, but now it's 90 degrees off. In the end I had to rotate my CameraRig 180 to get the proper orientation after calibration.

That sounds odd ... I just pointed the controller in the opposite direction of the monitor, too, because I want to do some filming and it's not that much fun to film people from the back ;-)

One really nice thing I've noticed is that the room-setup tool has a "flip" button, so even when you first pointed towards the monitor, you can still change it later. One thing that would be very nice would be a small link in the first screen where you select "Room-Scale" or "Standing Only" that allows you to directly jump into specific settings (like the orientation, or the play area).

There are a few things that one may want to change more frequently (e.g. when running different games or when doing specific things in a game) and running through the whole thing become a little tiring then.

I find it easier to press the edit button after doing the room boundary bit of the room set up to adjust the direction and centre point of the tracking area. Useful when you play games where the forward direction is more important than having lots of space behind you.
