Do you have any other monitor ports like a miniDP? If so you could hook the link box up miniDP->miniDP if you get a cable for that, not sure if they exist though...
The first one was that my headset was no more reconized by my computer by the hdmi port. So like BOLL suggested i download the nvidia graphic driver directlty from the manufacturer site ( DELL in my case , it was very simple , in the site it reconized your computuer automatically etc ). That solved the problem , cudos to BOLL, steam vr main room was displaying, but i couldn't play my game ( Talos principle VR) because it kept opening on the laptop screen.
The second thing to do was pretty simple finally. In the desktop by right clicking your can access the Nvidia Control Panel, in there click on the 3d parameters item (the third one i think) and in there you have two tabs , one for global parameters and the other for program's specific parameters, go to the second one and search for the game or the program that was not working, if it's not on the list you can browse and add it, once you have it selected just under you have an option to choose the chipset on which it will launch, MAKE SURE to select the NVIDIA chipset there ( in my case TALOS was set on the integrated gpu ), just apply the correction and you will be done.
All it's working fine now
