macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)
(It may not be avialable for osX any longer - but at one time, it was an addon which you could use to run Unix applications written for X (X11, Xorg, etc.) Chances are the port took advantage of this to use SDL on osX.)
I haven't used osX since 10.6, as it became useless for me compared to using an actual unix-like as Apple continued to decide to remove things (like X11) which made it much less of a good Unix laptop/desktop when working with a mixed Unix environment - so I don't know WHERE it would be. Perhaps homebrew documentation will show.
If not, maybe look to see if you can run it with something like dosbox - there used to be some decent osX wrappers for dosbox that would make this painless (you could drag the directory into the application, and it instantly ran.) Again, haven't used osX for years so not sure anyone is working on those things anymore - nor do I remember the names of them - and it may be it's not possible due to Apple's new restrictions that I have heard they've put into the latest versions - where it is very difficult to run your own programs.
HOPEFULLY someone who does use osX can use the hints above to find a solution.
I tried this, but I get this error when I try and update the wrapper:
There is an error with the installation of your Master Wrapper. Please update your Wrapper in Wineskin Winery (a manual install of a wrapper for Wineskin Winery will work too)
I'm not sure how to do what it is asking....
I've also tried just changing the set screen option and that doesn't work for me either. The first time I try and run the game after changing that setting nothing happens. Then when I try a second time the game tries to run and I get the original x11 error. If I go back into wineskin the set screen options have somehow reverted to what they were before.
Any advice is appreciated!
